Audi keys are among the more technical jobs in the car key trade, and they are jobs we do regularly. We come to your Audi anywhere in Central, South or North Jersey with the equipment to cut and program on site.

Audi keys by generation

Audi has used several immobilizer generations. Cars from the late 1990s and early 2000s use early immobilizer systems with transponder keys and switchblade-style flip keys. From the mid-2000s came newer generations with slot-in fobs and, on many models, the Advanced Key proximity system with push-button start. Each generation programs differently, which is why the year matters more than the badge.

All keys lost

With no working key, an Audi does not automatically mean the dealer. On most models up to the mid-2010s we can make and program new keys where the car sits. On the newest generation, factory security is tighter and some cars still need dealer-level online access. Call with the year and model and we will tell you straight what your car needs before you book anything.

Spare keys

Have one working key? A spare made now is cheaper and simpler than an all-keys-lost job later. We program the spare and check that it starts the car before we leave.

What it costs

Audi keys vary more than most makes, because the immobilizer generation changes the job. The price depends on the year, the key type, and whether any key still works. Call with the year and model for a quote.

Yes, on most years. The newest models can be different, so call with the year first.
