Lost the key to your Dodge, or down to one? We come to the vehicle anywhere in Central, South or North Jersey, from a Grand Caravan in the driveway to a Charger at work, and cut and program the key on the spot.

Dodge key types by year

Dodge started chipping keys in 1998, so most models from then on take a transponder key, the ones with the thick gray or tan head. From about 2008 much of the line switched to the FOBIK: the remote and key in one unit that slides straight into the dash, with no metal blade showing. Push-button models from about 2011 onward use the Keyless Enter-N-Go proximity fob. Tell us the year and model and we will say which key yours takes.

All keys lost

If the last key is gone, the vehicle does not have to go to a dealer. We come to where the Dodge is parked, make a new key or FOBIK from the vehicle and program it to the anti-theft system. Dealer-level equipment

Later Dodges need diagnostic-level programming equipment, the same kind the dealer uses. We carry current dealer-level tools, so the work happens where the vehicle sits. No tow and no dealer appointment.

Questions we hear

My Dodge key has no metal blade. Can you still replace it?

Yes. That is a FOBIK, and there is an emergency blade hidden inside it. We replace and program the whole unit on site.

Can you make a Dodge key if I lost my only one?

Yes. All-keys-lost is a regular job for us, and everything needed comes to the vehicle.

How long does it take?
